Choose your boundaries
Add websites you want blocked. ThinkEternal also includes known explicit domains and can block Google Images, Lens, Videos, and Short Videos without forcing SafeSearch.
Windows 10/11 · Local-first
ThinkEternal is a free, local-first Windows website blocker and self-control app. It adds a deliberate, personal pause between temptation and action—using your own reminders, your own commitments, and choices that stay yours.
Private beta v0.6.4: the installer is not yet digitally signed, so Windows Smart App Control may block it.

A pause with purpose
ThinkEternal combines Windows-level protection with a browser companion, then makes reducing that protection a conscious process instead of a quick click.

Add websites you want blocked. ThinkEternal also includes known explicit domains and can block Google Images, Lens, Videos, and Short Videos without forcing SafeSearch.
02
Select exactly ten personal reminder images. They are protected inside your Windows profile and are never included in anyone else’s download.
03
View each reminder for at least five active seconds, advance each one yourself, then type both commitments exactly before protection can change.
04
After the full guided sequence, an eligible site can receive a temporary 24-hour pass. It returns to blocked automatically when the pass ends.
ThinkEternal
Private by design
The installer contains the same clean base program for everyone. Your reminder photos, blocked-site list, temporary passes, recovery data, and settings are created only after installation and remain under your signed-in Windows profile.
ThinkEternal uses known-domain filtering, not cloud-based page-content inspection. It is deliberate-friction software, not tamper-proof parental control.
Honest protection
A saved local recovery code provides a quick path when available. If it is lost, a separate 30-minute waiting path prevents permanent lockout.
Windows protection remains active when the app window is closed and returns after a computer restart.
Choose the first typed reminder yourself. The final commitment remains required and must be typed—not merely accepted.

Straight answers
No. Every download contains the same base app. Personal reminders and settings are created locally after installation and are not sent to ThinkEternal or included in later installers.
No. It blocks selected visual-search routes without locking the general SafeSearch setting.
No filter can promise that. ThinkEternal blocks user-selected sites and a maintained catalog of known explicit domains; it does not inspect every page with a cloud service.
Not yet. This is a private beta. Trusted code signing, automatic desktop updates, and streamlined browser-companion installation are still needed for a smooth public release.
